The organization aims to strike a balance between tradition and modernization in order to contribute to the sustainable development of the region.
Since its inception over 15 years ago, Bivouac Le Petit Prince has worked tirelessly to cater to international and national tourists, protect the natural environment and build a platform for cultural exchange in the desert.
Over time our team has grown and is now made up of camel guides, trackers, walking guides, local tourism specialists, drivers and chefs. Although diverse, we all share common goals which are to give our guests a memorable, once in a life time experience, to see our cultural heritage preserved and to ensure the environment is protected.
At the bivouac our team will take care of all your needs, allowing you to totally relax and enjoy the inspiring setting of the Sahara. To ensure consistence, and knowing that your experience begins even before you arrive at Bivouac Le Petit Prince, we work with specifically selected international travel agencies and local tour operators that share the same universal values as we do.
Throughout the year we work to sustainably develop this region through the vehicle of ecotourism, and to celebrate our efforts and further our reach we co-organise and host the Taragalte Festival, in November.
